PGCE Teachers Certificate at Oxford Brookes University I spent two years at Oxford Brookes studying for my teaching certificate. I explored elements and requirements of the UK curriculum. Studying in the classroom and working on a school placement-teaching Drama & Theatre Studies (Yr1). ESL to adults (Yr2). BA Hons Degree-Drama & Education Studies at The University of Winchester Displayed a wide range of skills, academic reading and writing assignments-based around philosophy and educational thinkers-Education Studies. Demonstrated creative ideas into performance based projects-production work in drama.

Experience

Currently live in Shanghai, coming into my third year of teaching. I am teaching high school students in drama, theatre and film studies. I have two years teaching experience based at an international school. Role: Fourth grade homeroom teacher. During my time in the UK and China I have tutored students on a one to one basis and small classes. I enjoy the variation of working with different students, and having the opportunity to develop and improve their learning. I find teaching very rewarding. Working with students of various needs constantly helps me develop my teaching experience, and learning something new.

I am partaking in various projects in the arts. These are to inspire ideas when it comes to my teaching and explore my interests further. Currently I am studying (part time) a drawing and painting course, developing my technique through practice. I have also joined dance classes-exploring various styles, including latin, jazz and contemporary.
